Sir,—l wish to support “Reformer in his plea for reform in betting facilities. That we have now reached the £36,000.000 mark is truly alarming. When voting for the present Government, little did we realise that it would allow Totalisator Agency Board agencies in our housing areas. They are a great temptation to our young folk and contribute to the downfall of many promising young lives. . We may well ask whether the Government will heed and act—Yours, etc., CITIZEN. July 21. 1853.
