Coal Mines Idle
Because of a power break yesterday morning and subsequent fan stoppages, miners had to be withdrawn from the Dobson and Wallsend mines during the morning, but work resumed on the back-shift. The Liverpool State mine was also idle through an electrical fault in one of the transformers, possibly through water seepage, but it also resumed on the back-shift yesterday.— (F.0.0.R.)
