Bach Carried Away.— A slip at Palm Beach, Waiheke Island, carried an £BOO bach off its blocks and about 30 feet downhill. The bach was occupied at the time. The first indication of the slin was the sight of “a manuka tree sliding past the window.” The bach is now lying near the road and will probably have to be demolished.
