president of the Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand (Mr J. S. Marshall) today, in his address to the society’s annual conference. Mr Marshall said the Queen would visit the show for about two hours on the afternoon of Friday, January 29, the day before she left New Zealand. The show dates had been altered to make a visit from the Queen possible, said Mr Marshall. Though this would cause some inconvenience to stock exhibitors, he was sure they would gladly bear with it
