M.W.S. !PUBLIC NOTICES ASHBURTON GORGE RABBIT BOARD NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE A RATE IN accordance with the provisions of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 192®, and the Rating Act, 1925, public notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Ashburton Gorge Rabbit Board at its next Meeting to be held at Ashburton on Monday, July 6, 1953, to make and levy a genera] rate of IJd per acre upon all the rateable property in the Rabbit District as appearing in the Ratepayers’ List of the Board. Such rate shall be for the period commencing on the Ist April, 1953, and terminating on the 31st March, 1954, and shall be payable .14 days from the demand thereof in one sum at the office of the Board, Talbot Chambers, Beswick street, Timaru, and further, that an additional charge of (10 per cent.) ten per centum will be added to all such rates unpaid at the expiration of six months and fourteen days from the demand thereof.
