FUNERAL SERVICE FOR ARCHBISHOP WEST-WATSON.—The citizens of Christchurch paid their last respects to the memory of Archbishop West-Watson yesterday. This photograph, taken at the conclusion of the service in the Cathedral, shows the Primate and Archbishop of New Zealand (the Most Rev. R. H. Owen) standing to the left with his chaplain (the Rev. M. Peaston). The Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt. Rev. A. K. Warren) is preceded by the Rev. Canon W. A. Orange as chaplain. At back is the Bishop of Nelson (the Rt. Rev. P. W. Stephenson), who is attended by the Rev. W. Wisdom.
