ESCAPE OF TWO PRISONERS
YOUTHS SEEN AT OAMARU ON THURSDAY
Two youths who escaped from police custody at Milton on May 9, while on their way to the Borstal institution at Invercargill, are believed to be making their way north. They were seen at Oamaru on Thursady in an old model car, painted blue. Urey are Ronald Keith Henderson, aged 18, and Ronald George Walter Ollson, aged 19. Henderson is sft 7 jins in height, has a fresh complexion, fair hair and blue .eyes Ollson is sft 4ins in height, has a fresh complexion, light brown curly hair and blue eyes. Both youths are reported to be wearing rough grey clothing. They are not wearing hats. Henderson and Ollson escaped from the custody of a constable escort by jumping off the train while it was standing at the Milton station. The constable had left the carriage for a few moments to get the youths some tea. When he returned he was told that the boys and down the off-side of the train and had gone across the railway lines. They have been at large now for two weeks.
