DRIVERS’ FEDERATION
MR T. MAGEE ELECTED
PRESIDENT (New Zealand Press Association) WELLING'TON, April 9. Mr T. Magee, secretary of the Wellington Drivers’ Union, was. elected president of the New Zealand Drivers’ Federation at today’s session of the annual conference of the federation. Other officers elected were:—vicepresident, Mr W. Green (Westland); secretary-treasurer, Mr W. Welsh (Wellington); national councillors, Messrs A. E. Andrews (Auckland), M. Sullivan (Taranaki-Wanganui), J. Vagg (Hawke’s Bay), T. Magee (Wellington), A. Roberts (Canterbury), H. Brown (Otago), W. Pickford (Southland), and W. Green (Westland-Nel-son-Blenheim). The Minister of Transport (Mr W. S. Goosman) and the Commissioner of Transport (Mr G. L. Laurenson) will address the conference tomorrow.
