PUBLIC SITTINGS ENDED
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. February 21. The public sittings of the Royal Com- i. mission on the Waterfront Industry ■ ended to-day. The commission had j been sitting, although not continuously, since October 25. 1950. At 53 public sittings between then and February 27, 1951, and a further 61 between Sep- 1 tember 24 last year and to-day it heard ./ evidence from 276 witnesses.
