CLAIM AGAINST ESTATE SETTLED
... A Settlement at £2OO of a claim by George Trethew6y (Mr D. W. Russell) against the estate of Catherine Annie March, a widow, of Ashburton, his mother, who died on April 4, 1950, was approved by Mr Justice Northcroft in the Supreme Court yesterday. Mr A. C. Perry appeared for the trustee, John William Boucher; Mr B. A. Barrer for Mary Boucher; Mr D. I. N. Mac Lean for Diana and Pamela Boucher; Mr R. W. Edgley for Frank Trethewey; and Mr W. B. T. Leete for Alan Trethewey. Mr Russell said the claim had been settled by the payment of £2OO to the plaintiff out of the estate. The plaintiff would bear the costs Incurred in his application to the Court.
UNDEFENDED DIVORCE PETITIONS A decree nisi was granted the petitioner, on the grounds stated, in the following undefended petitions for divorce heard before Mr Justice Northcroft in the Supreme Court yesterday:— Separation.—Joan Esther Letham (Mr J. A. Bretherton) v. Frederic Roy Letham; Yvonne Margaret Scott (Mr A. W. Brown) v. George Robert Scott.
