Mr A. W. Peterson has been elected president, and Mr R. W. Smith vicepresident of the Canterbury Drivers’ Union. Other officers elected were: national council representative, Mr A. S. Roberts; delegate to drivers’ conference, Messrs Smith and Roberts; representatives at the Federation of Labour and Labour Party conferences, Messrs Peterson and Roberts: executive, Messrs L. Peachey, C. Trillo, jun. W. Williams. F. T. J. French, T. Mayo, L. Tritt, L. Wilson, E. Purcel], and C. Winder.
