PRICE CONSIDERED TOO HIGH

' The original Intention was to purchase 10.000.0001 b of butter from New Zealand, but because of the high price the purchase has been cut sharply, and negotiations are under way with Sweden. Denmark, and Holland. An announcement on the negotiations is expected to be made soon. New Zealand, which sells most of her butter in the United Kingdom, is understood to have asked Canada to pay about 38 per cent, more than the price obtained from Britain.
