WORLD AIRWAYS SYSTEM
REPORTED PLANS OF japan (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, August 25. Japan is secretly planning a world airways system to operate as soon as the peace treaty is signed, according to a report reacting London to-day. Active American aid is expected as the project could be represented as part of a plan for Japanese development in South-East Asia. The report says the first regular services would be to Indonesia, Karachi, and San Francisco, using Super Constellations, which could be built by permission in Japan to svoid unfair demands on the United States aircraft industry.
