SOEUR DE BEAU WINS HANDICAP (New Zealand Pres* Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, Aug. 26. The Foxton spring meeting was held under favourable conditions. The weather was fine and the course in good order and fast for early spring racing. The attendance was good and the totahsator, including the off-course betting, handled £70,912 10s. against £67.399 10s last year. The off-course betting amounted to £6242.
