Wilson (Olympic, Chri tchurch), of! the 12-minute mark, won the Temuka to Timaru harrier handicap race yesterday. Christchurch runners filled the first four places. The event attracted 97 runners, from as far as Wanganui and Invercargill. C. N. Johns, of the Timaru Harrier Club, the South Canterbury cross-country champion, took fastest time. He ran oft the Imin ISsec mark, and covered the course in 38min 26acc. finishing tenth. Results:— G, Wilson (Olympic, Christchurch), rimln, 65mir. Msec, 1; A. W. Gordon (Presbyterian, Chfristchurch), 12imia. 67min The senior' foams’ race for the Cameron banner was won by Caveraham. with an aggregate time of 247m1n Msec, from Timaru Club, 247 min 30sec. K. E. Williams (Christchurch Club) won the junior race in 19min 36aec, from P. Sidon (Caversham). 20min 3eec. P. Duncan (Anglican. Dunedin), 20min 41sec, was third. The junior teams' race was won by Caversham (10 points), with Anglican (Dunedin) (18 pointe), second, and Olympic (Christchurch) (40 pointe), third. >
