DRUNKENNESS Maurice Michael Flynn, aged 73, a pensioner, was convicted and discharged on a charge of being drunk in Worcester street on February 20, having been convicted of a similar offence within the last six months. The Magistrate directed that the accused be placed under the care of the Salvation Army. REMANDED

Stanley Brian Andrell, aged 18, a carpenter’s labourer, was remanded to appear in the Magistrate’s Court at Blenheim on February 26 on a charge of unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl over the age of 12 years and under the age of 16 years.
