MOTOR-CYCLING
BROOKLANDS TRIAL WON BY G. DENNISON G. Dennison, the New Zealand champion in 1949, won the British Motor-cycle Agency’s Cup at the annual Brooklands trial meeting held by the Canterbury Auto-cycle Club yesterday. Some keen competition was seen, although there were only six entries in the race. G. Hughey and N. Turner were level almost throughout the whole of the novice race, which was won by Hughey, who lost 26 points to Turner’s 42. The race was in doubt until the third to last section. The detailed results of the trial were as follows:
