FROST DAMAGE CLAIMS
WHEAT COMMITTEE FIXES DATE OF PAYMENT
All claims so far received by the Wheat Committee for compensation on the score of wheat losses through frost damage will be through the adjusters’ hands by February 20. This information was to hand at yesterday’s meeting of the committee, when it was decided to pay out on that date all claims determined.

_. . LONDON, January 30. Tin is quoted on the London metal market at £599 15s a ton for spot delivery, and £582 5s for delivery in three months.
SPOT RUBBER AT HIGH LEVEL
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) LONDON. January 31. The spot price for rubber on the London market yesterday reached its highest level in free-market trading for more than 21 years. The final price was 15 3 ,8 d to 15’zid per lb.
