AUSTRALIAN CHURCH YOUTH PARTY

VISIT TO CHRISTCHURCH

A party of about 20 young Australians, arranged by the young people’s societies of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Australia, will make a brief visit to Christchurch next month in the course of a New Zealand tour. The group will arrive in Christchurch on Saturday, February 18. and leave for the West Coast on Tuesday. February 21. Arrangements for their stay in Christchurch are being made by Pastor G. E. Fischer, of the Christchurch Lutheran Church.

Under a tentative programme the party will be taken to the Botanic Gardens, on trips round the Port Hills and some of Christchurch’s suburbs, ar.d to the Canterbury Museum. -it is hoped that the’ Public Relations officer of the Christchurch City Council (Mr T. H. Langford) will meet the visitors during their stay.
