WESTERN UNION POWERS
MINISTERS CONFER ON DEFENCE LONDON, November 23. The five Western Union Defence Ministers met in London to-day for talks on their participation in the Atlantic Pact. It is believed that their main problem is to decide how far they can go towards setting up a separate West European regional defence group under the Atlantic Pact without overlapping the function of the existing Western Union military organisation.
