BROADCAST TIME WANTED BY COMMUNISTS
After a public meeting sponsored by the Canterbury district of the New Zealand Communist Party last evening, the following resolution was passed: “Because of the fact that the other two political parties have been granted adequate time to present their election policies to the people by means of radio broadcasts, the Communist Party, which is a recognised political party, with 16 candidates in this election, should also be granted facilities on the radio to present its policy to the electors.”
