BRITAIN AND HOLLAND EXCHANGES IN YEAR TO VALUE OF £60,000,000 (Rec. 8 p.m.) THE HAGUE, March 1. A trade treaty covering exchanges to the value of £60.000,000 in 1949 has been concluded between the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. An official announcement says that the Netherlands will export finished products, besides increased amounts of bacon and eggs, in exchange for textiles. yarn, and 800.000 tons of coal. The treaty provides for a resumption of United Kingdom trade with Indonesia, which will send £8,000.000 worth of copra, palm oil, and other raw materials in exchange for £13,000,000 worth of British goods.
