FLAGSHIP OF NAVAL SQUADRON

(P.A.) DUNEDIN, March 1. From to-day, H.M.N.Z.S. Bellona, the light improved Dido class cruiser, which is now visiting Dunedin, will assume the title of flagship, in the New Zealand Naval Squadron.’ Most of the officers on board the Bellona will assume squadron rank as well as ship rank. Captain D. Hammersley Johnston. commander of the Bellona, will become squadron commander. This is the first time the Royal New Zealand Navy has had sufficient vessels to form a squadron.
