CANTERBURY COLLEGE APPOINTMENTS
The Canterbury University College Council made the following appointments yesterday on the recommendation of the Regional Council of Adult Education:—Mr B. J. Dunne, tutororganiser for the West Coast, in place of Mr H. S. Kent, who has resigned; Miss M. A. Cushen. tutor-organiser in home science; Mr S. M. Delaney, tutor-organiser in music for up to three months. Dr. H. R. Hulme and Mr H. F. Baird will replace Professor A. H. Tocker and Mi C. Carr on the Regional Council of Adult Education. Arrangements are being made for specialist lectures in the School of Engineering by-''prominent engineers. Mr L. C. H. Cowan and Mr K. S. Odlin, were appointed temporary lecturers in civil engineering. Mr F. Staub was appointed to a temporary position on the staff of the School of Art. The position of senior lecturer in industrial chemistry will be advertised in New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom, at a salary bf £725. Applications will also be called for a senior lecturer in political science.
