FISHERMAN STRUCK BY SINKER
While fishing from a wharf at Lyttelton yesterday afternoon, John Wilson, of 163 Westminster street, St. Albans, was struck on the temple by a lead sinker which was being swung by another fisherman. Mr Wilson suffered severe injuries and was attended by Dr. T. Hurrell. of Lyttelton. He was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital by ambulance and his condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory.
