The acting Palestine mediator (Dr. Ralph Bunche) has advised United i Nations headquarters that Israel and Egypt have signed a new cease-fire agreement making the earlier truce “complete and enduring.” Dr. Bunche’s message said it was still hoped that agreement could be reached at Rhodes. Dr. Bunche added that the new truce provided that Egypt and Israel. would refrain from military moves even if the armistice talks failed.
