(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 25. One of Northern Ireland’s prominent administrators, Sir John Milne Barbour, declared on his arrival in the Dominion Monarch that union in Ireland would certainly not come about. He declared that Northerners would not countenance it Sir John Barbour is a leading figure in Northern Ireland’s linen thread industry, and is a former Minister of Commerce and of Finance in the Parliament of Northern Ireland, of which he has been a member since the passing of the Government of Ireland Act in 1920.
