Hoofs on the Ceiling
“How did you manage to get the horses’ hoofs on the ceiling?” the secretary (Mr R. T. Alston) was asked at last evening’s meeting of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association council. The council room has been fitted with new lighting and by some curious shadow effect what seem to be the marks of horseshoes can be plainly seen round each light shade.
