TRANS-TASMAN PASSAGES HEAVILY BOOKED Passages from New Zealand to Australia by the Monowai and the Wanganella are in heavy demand until the end of April, but intending passengers are being advised by shipping companies to apply for berths because last-minute cancellations always occur before a voyage. Sailing schedules for the Monowai after April are expected to be announced soon.
