ACCIDENTS
CARS COLLIDE NEAR MAHENO CHRISTCHURCH PEOPLE INJURED “The Press” Special Service DUNEDIN. January 21. A car driven by Mr Trevor Jackson, of Christchurch, collided with another travelling in the same direction, driven by Mr E. R. Dennison, of Oamaru, north of Maheno at 6 o’clock to-night. Two persons in Mr Jackson’s car were injured and admitted to the Oamaru Public Hospital. Mr Jackson and another passenger suffered minor injuries. Those admitted to hospital were: Mrs Fraser, Burwood avenue, Christchurch; head injuries, bruises, and shock. Ronald Thomas Lisle. Worcester street, Christchurch; injuries to ribs and arm; later discharged Mr M. Carson, of Breeze’s road. Christchurch received injuries to an ankle which required attention at the hospital. Mr Dennison and his passengers were not injured.
