GAOL SENTENCES IN SPAIN
ALLEGED UNDERGROUND SOCIALIST ACTIVITY (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, January 10 A Spanish military tribunal imposed sentences ranging from one to 25 years imprisonment on 16 defendants, including four women, charged with attempting to organise an underground Socialist workers’ party, says the Associated Press correspondent at Ocana.
