Radio Transmitters for Council
The Hawke’s Bay County Council is investigating the possibilities of installing radio transmitters' irf the cars of its inspectors and overseers. The clerk (Mr W. J. O’Connell) said at a recent meeting of the council that the initial cost would be about £lOOO, with annual charges of about £l2O. Two base stations would be necessary.
