PRISON SENTENCE IMPOSED

GAMING ACT CHARGE (P.A.) HAMILTON, October 30. Accused had not been, deterred by three previous penalties, including a term of imprisonment, said Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Hamilton to-day, when sentencing John Christopher Mitten, aged 33. of Hamilton, to three months’ imprisonment for using premises as a common gaming house.
