MAN KILLED WHEN HORSE REARS

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, October 30. A man who arrived recently from England to learn farming, Daniel Yarline Mills, aged 32, single, was killed to-day. He was a guest of Mt John Kempthorne, also a . recent arrival from England, who has purchased a farm at Manawaora. near Russell. Mr Mills and his host set out on horseback from the house paddock. Mr Mills’s horse reared, and he was thrown heavily to the ground. He died almost immediately.
