INTERVIEWING AN APPLICANT FOR THE AIR FORCE.—A young applicant for service in the Royal New Zealand Air Force being interviewed by the Air Force Selection Committee in Christchurch yesterday. The members of the committee are Squadron Leader A. T. Giles (left) an engineering officer who was formerly in charge of technical training at Hobsonville, and Flight Lieutenant E. W. Parry,"an educational officer from the Air Department. Twenty-five men and youths appeared before the committee yesterday, and other applicants and persons interested in serving in the Air Force will be interviewed to-day and to-morrow.
