BROMLEY CEMETERY

Sir, —I would be exceptionally grateful if you would, through “The Press,” enable ,me to express my sincere appreciation of the vast improvement shown in the upkeep of the Bromley cemetery. The well-kept lawns and paths and the large number of privately well-kept, graves are pleasing. The soldiers’ portion in this cemetery is a real credit to the authorities concerned. as are the rows of neat granite stones so symbolical of th'e traditions of our soldiers in these past wars and so universal in design. How fitting would be a large cross of sacrifice, were it erected at the western end of this plot. I feel certain that I speak for many of the relatives of my fellow A.N.Z.A.C.’s in phrasing these few words of congratulation.—Yours, etc.. ANZAC. August 23, 1947.
