ADJUSTMENTS TO 600 AWARDS
INCORPORATION OE WAGE INCREASES
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, August 21. Employers’ and workers’ organisations are conferring to make adjustments to 600 awards for the incorporation of the wage increases authorised by the Court of Arbitration. It is hoped that arrangements will have been completed for the operation of wage increases in most awards from October 1. The Court will probably deal, in a short time, with a total of about ISO awards, under which the full amount of the 3d an hour increase is applicable. Already it has announced amendments to three awards.
