THE WATERSIDERS

Sir, —In to-day’s issue you tell two correspondents that their subjects are closed. But you did not tell “Common Sqnse” or “Action Demanded,” who both wrote about watersiders, that this subject has been going on for the last 10 years. As far as you are concerned it will carry on until a change of government takes place. I say again, as I did in the letter you did not publish because it was a few words too long: crush the watersiders and you crush the Labour Government. Exminer, Minister of Labour, please note. —Yours, etc-, ELIZABETH. July 19, 1947.
