PERON’S ATTACK QN NEWSPAPERS

(Rec. 10 p.m.) BUENOS AIRES, March 8. Mounted police broke up an attempt by several hundred people last night to stone the offices of the independent newspaper “La Prenga” after a speech by President Peron condemning opposition newspapers. President Peron, addressing 4000 Labour leaders, denounced the financial oligarchy, Opposition politicians, Argentine Communists, and the press as "the f6ur great enemies Of Argentina’s economic independence.” President Peron suggested a boycott of the newspapers. “It we do this tnfty will, within six months, print just the opposite of what they are publishing to-day,” he added.
