World Snooker Championship.— With the match for the world snooker championship between Fred Davis and the New Zealander. Clark McConachy, decided, McConachy found his best form, and after Davis bad broken the pack he cleared the table with a brilliant break of 132, only six points fewer than Joe Davis’s world record. Davis finished the day leading by 38 frames to 10, with two days’ play remaining.
