HEALTH STAMP DESIGN
PRIZEWINNERS ANNOUNCED
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, January 24. More than 700 entries from all over New Zealand and as far afield as Fiji, were received in the recent health stamp design competition. On behalf of the selection committee, Mr E. R. Myers, chairman of the publicity panel of the Dominion advisory board of the New Zealand Federation of Health Camps, announced the names of winners as follows: —first prize, J. Berry (Wellington); second prize. Nancy MacKenzie (Whangarei). Prizes were also’awarded to Jack W. Crippen (Auckland), A. McDowall (Oamaru), and G. L. Jackson (Christchurch). „ _ The committee, comprising Messrs J. H Haase, of the Royal Philatelic So* ciety of New Zealand. Stewart B. MacLennan. representing the New Zealand Academy oi Fine Arts, and K. W. Kilpatrick and M. Hurst, members of the publicity panel, have now sent the selected designs to the Dominion Advisory Board of the New Zealand Federation of Health Camps.
