N.Z. TROOPS IN JAPAN
VISIT BY MR FRASER EXPECTED
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 1 a.m.) LONDON, January 23. “The Prime Minister of New Zealand (Mr P. Fraser) is expected to visit Japan ip February to see at first-hand the conditions of New Zealand troops,” says Reuter’s Tokyo correspondent. “Sir Richard O’Connor, AdjutantGeneral to the British forces, will arrive in Japan on January 28 to inspect British Commonwealth occupation I troops. Mr Geoffrey de Freitas, the Under-Secretary of State for Air, is expected a few days later to inspect air units.”
