New Market for Cheese
The prospect of a market for New Zealand cheese in the Middle East is suggested in a letter from a firm in Cairo received by the secretary of the Clandeboye Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd. (Mr F- J- Robertson). The letter, which was in French, was translated by Miss McMaster, of the staff of the Temuka District High School. The firm, which has headquarters in Cairo and agencies in Alexandria, Port Said and Khartoum, Damascus and Jerusalem, suggests that samples of cheese be forwarded.
