HOME SERVICEMEN'S ASSOCIATION
♦ RICCARTON SUB-BRANCH FORMED A decision to form a Riccarton subbranch of the New Zealand Home Servicemen's Association was made at a public meeting held recently at the Riccarton Town Hall. The president iMr H. G. Mackay) and members of the executive of the Christchurch branch of the association attended the meeting, Mr Mackay, Mr C. J. Goode, and Mr F. R. Metson outlined the association's activities. The following officers of the. subbranch were elected:—chairman, Mr A. J. Orbell; secretary and treasurer Mr H. R. Peers; executive, Messrs J. R. Coulter, D. Chamberlain. A. Mackenzie, A. Scott, D. S. Rossiter, and Miss K. Smith; social committee, Mrs I. R. Lingard, Miss K. Smith, Messrs R. Carter and A. Mackenzie.
