VICTORY LOAN
Sir,—At the official opening at Wellington on Monday, two clear-voiced, clear-minded scholars spoke on behalf of the Victory Loan Example being better than precept, they also backed up their words by producing proof of their having already subscribed to the loan. Would it not stimulate raising of the sum required, if our leaders were to overcome, for once, the inherent diffidence of politicians and follow the example of these young people? Yours, etc..
