ACCIDENTS
WATERSIDE WORKER INJURED Mr H, M. Craig, a waterside worker, aged 58, of 82 Randolph street, Woolston, suffered a fracture of the left ankle when a beam fell on him yesterday afternoon while he was working on an overseas ship at Lyttelton. He was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital at 6.15 p.m., and his condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory.
INJURIES TO HEAD Lacerations of his head were suffered by Mr F. M. Keinzley, believed to be from Auckland, at Lyttelton last evening. The steamer express train was shunting on the ferry wharf when Mr Keinzley bumped against a carriage window, which shattered. He was brought to Christchurch by ambulance and admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital at 9.30 p.m. His condition last evening was satisfactory.
INJURED Mr R. Lawson, a freezing-works employee, was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital at 8.10 p.m. yesterday suffering- from concussion received when he collided with a bus while cycling in lower Riccarton. His condition was reported to be satisfactory.
