Waimate Winter Show.—The opinion that it would be unwise to plan a revival of the Waimate Winter and Poultry Show until after the war, was expressed at a meeting called by the president of the Winter and Poultry Show Society (Mr M. Leonard). The suggestion was made that interest in the society might be maintained by arranging lectures on appropriate subjects.
