SUMNER FIRE INSURANCE
Sir,—At a meeting at Sumner Mr Machin’s remarks oh insurance were absolutely inaccurate and misleading. The true facts are that Sumner fire insurance rates for houses situated a similar distance from other houses is a little' cheaper than similar properties in the Metropolitan Fire Board area, outside the city belt. Mr Machin cannot contradict this. His remarks were wishful thinking without foundation of facts.—Yours, etc, H. THOMSON. February 22, 1945. '
