LICENSING TRUST
NOMINATIONS MADE
(P.A.) INVERCARGILL. April 19. Crs. W. H. Boyes and C. B. Orbell were nominated as City Council representatives on the Invercargill Licensing Trust at a meeting of the council last night. Four councillors were proposed for the two positions, the other two being Mrs A. W. Jones and Cr. W. Aitchison. Cr. Boyes secured nomination on the first vote, in which there was a tie between Cr. Orbell and Cr. Jones. On the second vote Cr. Orbell secured nomination. There was a full attendance of councillors. The South Invercargill Borough Council has nominated Cr. C. M. Dickson as its representative on the trust.
