Submerged Beam Removed. —The submerged beam which caused minor damage to the dredge Otakou in Timaru Harbour early last week was located. by the Otago Harbour Board’s diver, (Mr A. Hutton) and was removed by the Otakou’s anchor boat. A search was made and no other timber was seen in the locality. The dredge was repaired and resumed operations on Friday.
